2019 Marie Curie EF: EF-CAR or 'normal' EF application? Higher chances?

Post by moedimani » Thu Jul 11, 2019 4:19 pm

Dear all,

As I am also eligible for an EF-CAR (Career Restart Panel) I wonder if the success-rate it higher with a normal EF application or with the EF-CAR... is there any statistics from the previous years online?

Thanks a lot for any help.

All the best,
Marianne

I think there are statistics of success and cutoff numbers if you Google around. Off the top of my head, I think CAR tends to have a slighly lower cutoff, but it varies by panel and year. CAR allows you one year longer than the IF. I am a CAR applicant and for me the ability to get 36 months of funding vs. 24 makes the CAR worth it.
