Any news about their system getting back to work? The system cannot just get back running by itself and they promised results will be out by the 12th (midnight). They might have already fixed over the weekend? it would not be possible otherwise to send emails tomorrow morning...

Normally in big cases like this (I’ve written these types of tender documents), in the contract for whoever built the new portal, they would require weekend emergency IT support. They should have been working on it all weekend. So the fact that we haven’t gotten anything makes me wonder if they still haven’t fixed the problem. From my understanding, they would have started sending right away as soon as it was working.

It is strange that there is no mantainence information in the potral during the weekend. Wondering if they have fixed the technical issues on Friday and enjoy their weekend or will tackle them on Monday? Anyway, hope they could keep their promise to end this game.

Guys, as said before, if they like your proposal and want to fund it, they can cut you some slack... They will bring it up if they look for reasons to reject it...

Anyway, it is perhaps one of the largest evaluation process in Europe... I am in program committees that receive 1000 papers every year, but this one is one order of magnitude larger and more important... The key in this evaluation process, in my opinion, is to go for the safe bet... no high-risk, high-gain sh*t... Would be glad to know other's opinion...
