can someone remind me *why* ranking has been shown to be better than evaluation? thanks very much!

As far as I understood, if you are ranked, your proposal might get funded if there is still money in the budget. Evaluation seems like it is under threshold and not ranked for funding.

For the first link, you need to login in your potral first. while for the second link, it could be much easier if you switch to firefox. You might try View-Page style- Disable all styles, then you will see your phase either in RANKING or Evaluation.

For chrome you need to download web developer and then disable CSS all styles.

I think we are the same in the followup now. Once we are informed, the evaluation process in your screen shot will be 100%.
