Unfortunately, just based on the fact that they released before on Fridays (and a single time on a Monday), the most likely date is now Friday 8th February. Probably starting sending emails Thursday night.

It's true that last year emails started arriving during the night. But last year was different from 2015-2017. However, it seems to me that this year it is very hard to say something. Hope they will release results soon, can't work properly.

How many emails they can send is not dictated by them...I would say probably 500 per hour based on my newsletter sending experience.

Something that worries me is that they really f... up and we are going to see strange results. Like weird cut-offs, success rates e.t.c. because they couldn't properly attribute the funds to the widening countries.

Why you think this? I mean in 2015 results were released February 6 (with less applications) and I do not think they did a mess. I am confident that they are doing what they can. Widening fellowship is for sure an element of complication but gives more chances to some people, which is always good.
