Hi all, I need some advice!
I'm not sure how to present my situation in Part A, under the current organisation/contact. Two months ago I received my PhD but I haven't secured any postdoc immediately afterwards. Essentially I am unemployed, though affiliated (remotely) with one group at my university. Is it acceptable to fill in the details of the institution where I obtained my PhD then?
How do you deal with this question in applications?
This totally slipped my mind with all the writing, though I might have missed any relevant info in the guidelines (if there is).
Thank you!
Hi! I am basically in the same situation, no postdoc position but still affiliated (not that remote, I am even still in the office sometimes and I appear on the homepage as scientific staff). I would go with your PhD institution.
I have two more questions:
1. I just noticed that the references should be in footnote style - so is it allowed to delete this page counting box - otherwise there would be no space in the footer.
2. Do you think it's possible to do the Gantt chart in landscape format?
Thank you!
Great, thank you very much!
1. Where does it say about the footnotes? I know that the page counting box must stay.
I've actually wrote the references at the very end, per advice of the host examiner. I must check this detail again, though.
2. The page orientation of the form should remain consistent, I believe. Have you checked in the handbook or the manual?

Hi! I have a specific question. I am applying for MSCA this year. The proposal includes developing a novel theoretical method, applying it to various models, and making a framework that translates the parameters of these models to the impact on some observables.
The point is that I have developed a prototype of this method and am going to submit a paper to arXiv. My plan was to submit it right after the MCSA deadline. The prototype is a kind of proof of principle, i.e., it cannot be applied from box.
My question is whether this may severely affect the chance of my proposal being approved. What do you think?

Have you discussed it with the host? It might depend on how you present this in the proposal. I'd ask them, at least the Office that supports the application process.
At the beginning of the application, there is something along the lines of confirming that the proposed research will be entirely original, etc.

Hi everyone
Around 2.5 months to the release of results, how are you all holding up?
My status on the portal is still showing 'Submitted' and the magic link phase is Submission. Anyone else with similar or different status.

Exactly the same status and phase for me. I know it's still a long way to go until February but I can't help checking the magic link every now and then.

Would you be so kind to share the magic link here once again?

Hi everyone,
It was kind of reassuring to see people posting and still thinking about this! It really is a long time to wait and a lot of future plans etc. riding on it
The magic link does not work for me for some reason- but my status on the portal says 'final'. After a brief panic, I searched the forum and saw this means that the application document is final and can't be changed, rather than the submission isn't being progressed for whatever reason.
In other years there was quite good community and whatsapp groups etc. If anyone is aware of anything similar this year please let me know

Hi all,
in my case, the EU Funding & Tenders Portal states the status "Final" and the magic link says "Evaluation". But the waiting has been and is endless.
Good luck to all of you!
