Anyone who doesn't have this 'GAP-xxxxxx' field yet? I don't think the communication centre tab was on the participant portal until some days ago.

Not so much! I just noticed some changes in Communication Centre (participant portal)! :D I'm not sure if it was like this before but when I click on the tab "All Messages" it has now two options "GAP-xxxxxx" and "Project Messages"!
same here. Was it not like this before? I never checked it before..
hmm, no clue... I don't think I ever looked at that either.
Somehow have a feeling that tomorrow is not going to be the announcement day...although I'd be glad to be wrong.

Hello, where do you find "all messages"? I t is my first time... I can only see "My Notification(s)". Thanks

You have to click the 'FO' button beside your proposal.
If you look at the blue box on the left hand side, it has a 'Communication Centre' button, and when you click in there you'll see a dropdown menu.

for previous years statistics, you can follow this link http://cache.media.education.gouv.fr/fi ... 750373.pdf
and yes, there is crazy 36% in the IF-EF-Society and enterprise panel for the 2016 call
From your link I read this regarding 2014:

Secondments:
– Of a total number of 7,409 evaluated proposals, 2,189 proposals included a secondment phase (percentage 29.5%)
– Out of a total number of 1,305 retained proposals (main list), 441 proposals included a secondment phase (percentage 33.7%)

It is impressive to see that as a matter of fact, the choice of a secondment period does not represent a strong added value.

It is probably that in multidisciplinary projects, a secondment could be important (not essential) for obtaining the fellowship. Especially in the case of projects that include two disciplines not too close. I think, the importance of the secondments depend on the type of project.

I can see the GAP-xxxxxx selector too and I don't think it was there before. Can anyone guess what GAP stands for? I thought something along the lines of Grant Agreement P-something. Also my status has changed recently from EVALUATION to RANKING (finished: true) - it was Evaluation on Friday and Ranking today. I guess they are closing up all scientific areas (mine is PHY) and then we should have the results fairly soon - at least I hope!

I know, right? Interestingly enough, the absence of secondments was one of the weaknesses evaluators found in my project last year... (and, no, it was not necessary in my SOC project...)

So it's not mandatory, but it can also become a weakness if you do not have one

It stands for grant agreement preparation I think. However I have it for last year's rejected proposal also so might just be a standard part of the system.
