Would you be kind to answer to my question about your experience with ranking and evaluation status at this timepoint. Is it per panel, high /low scores updates? What do you know?

1. Yes, mine changed today from EVALUATION to RANKING. Hence I have my doubts regarding this comment of @Rapaz ''People that were in EVALUATION until 1 day before the announcement if the results, scored low or very low. Some people from this forum can confirm this''.

2. No, I do not have anything in contacts

Random, but I think the Ranking is happening by panel (ST, SE, CAR, RI) and not by type of proposal (LIF, SOC, CHE, PHY etc). Because we are 2 people in this forum from SE panel and both got Ranked today.
I am also IF-SE and I had 'RANKING' since 18/01.
Yes but your original panel was RI, right? Really, how do you get notified that your evaluation panel changes? Do they email you about it?
No...I just saw it on the link...Then I also checked the Follow-up section of the proposal and it was IF-SE.

Do you have any idea (or anyone else has an idea) why this might be happening? Can this happen with other panels? It is interesting...

Yes. It was explained in details by some guest - look through the posts. It seems according to the rules they can do such transfer in certain cases to enlarge the chances for funding.

Yes I understand that. I am wondering why would they do it though...Does it mean that they dont have enough proposals on the SE panel that scored above threshold so they have to transfer some from other panels that were also eligible to apply with a non academic sector (SE)? For example, a proposal that is eligible for application with both RI and SE panels decides to apply with the RI. Then, if the EC lacks fundable proposals in the SE, they look for proposals in this pool of dual eligibility cases...you see what I mean?

Yes, i do. I have already heard about such cases, not in my panel. Only "multi-submitters" could answer this question.

I don't understand why it would take 2 days to send 9000 emails. Just think about the spam emails going to millions of people. :?:
maybe those who have applied in previous years can tell us about receiving emails and how long does it last?
Last year results were released jan 27, I got the email at 4:30 am my time which is 10:30am CET.

Guys and girls,

Don't speculate too much about the results of IF since they will not be released this week.

Today I was calling Mrs HELLEVUO K. , the Deputy Head of Unit in the Section 2. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships: European of the Research Executive Agency (http://europa.eu/whoiswho/public/index. ... 84&lang=en ).

She told me very clearly that the results of IF will be announced next Monday and Tuesday (29-30 of January). It will take 2 days to send about 9000 e-mails, even using computer schedules.

So, I can recommend you to buy anyway a champagne bottle on Sunday evening.

Good luck!
