Hello everyone,
I've recently started a 3-year MSCA Postdoc Fellowship, the first two years of which are spent in the United States.
I wonder if anyone could share their experience of what can count as part of the "Research, training and networking contribution" budget?
My primary institution suggested I may consider buying a new laptop, for instance, which I wouldn't have thought could count as Research costs.
Obviously I know about conference and publications costs, the usual suspects, but I would be interested in hearing about what else you might have been able to integrate into your research budget.
Many thanks in advance

Re: Research, training and networking contribution
What I have seen being covered with Research and networking budget " : organization of conferences and workshop, language classes, softwares acquisition, travel insurance, health insurance, Visa, proofreading and translation, courses to develop skills related to the project like specific language programing, student fees - some universities ask postdocs to pay student fees...
Basically if you can justify the cost as important for your project you can finance pretty much.
