I have contacted the NPC and they still don't know the ranking, but these are the cut-offs for each field EF:

CHE 93
ECO 89
ENG 94
ENV 95,2
LIF 94,4
MAT 92,2
PHY 92,8
SOC 94,6

super helpful! haha and I don't know who needs this info but there are 35 UK projects in the main funded list for EF-ENV and on the reserve list with a score higher than 94.4. So I'm guestimating that I'll still be on the reserve list once those are removed EF-ENV had 113 projects above the cut-off.

Where can we find this kind of information regarding number of UK projects in the reserve or funded list? I am EF-CHE

As we expected, the cutoff marks this year are crazy. I mentioned it at my university today, and they were also shocked. Anyway, it is what it is.

My university is already in contact with the NCP to get more information on the EF-SOC. I'll let you know whenever I get their reply. I would also appreciate it if you could all come back to this post and share any bit of news you have.

I got the position of the project when I gave them the acronym, and the NCP gave me the information about both the ranking (136), the number of projects in main list (113) and the number of UK applicants that had higher scores than me in mainlist and reserve list (35). so if it is indeed the case that the 35 applicants are removed from the list (hopefully to receive equally nice funding), then my project would move up, e.g. by 136 minus 35. Its far from sure of course. I don't have any more information than this, I really hope you hear soon from your NCP!!!

You too!!! You're very close to the cut off so I image that your chances of getting funded are higher!

German NCP refuse to give any information other than my ranking in the reserve list, stating that they are confidential. It doesn't make sense. Why should the number of applications in the main list or the number of applications with a UK host above my cut-off should be confidential? How else can one calculate one's chance of being invited for the grant? So frustrating.
