Yes, I agree to request for them to be more specific.

I have a question, if someone know if the people that announced they got the funding were from UK-based institutions. The reason is that they may have less strict rules about leaking there.

Also, since more or less everything shows that they already have the results, I am wondering if these results are kind of provisional. The reason I say this is because we know from the official documents about evaluation that if there are applications who score equal (which happens a lot since if you look at past ranking most of the scores are concentrated just below 90%), then they take into account things like gender an regional balance etc. Then if you add things like a) Brexit b) widening fellowships c) Russian Institutions? also, c) Some other countries are third countries this year like Swiss for example, then it might take some time for all of this new data to be taken into account and to have equal balance between countries in the final ranking and be checked that all is good before announcing.

Getting the results next week is not completely unlikely (i.e., the ERC-COG submission will be closed and the Funding and Tenders portal should not be loaded with any particular activity), so let's see what happens

Hi -- I did get the result (and, no, I did not troll you). I'm also still here anxiously waiting because the widening (now ERA, apparently) means you are in the waiting list for the main call so I'm anxious to find out what the final ranking was.

Leak is a possible thing as there are number of NCPs. NCPs have the results. Because of UK they cant share for sure. So many candidates from UK might be at higher ranking and if UK does not pay then they might be excluded. In that case the ranking will be revised. It will take more days to be solved.

Most certainly a leak. Despite what they say, the NCP already have the results
