Hi all,

I have prepared a proposal and I have started to upload it on the portal. In Step 4 (Parties), I added my name as researcher and my supervisor as supervisor. However I am not sure from adding contact person. Shall I add a contact person from host institute? If so, what should be the access right: "coordinator contact (full access)" or "team member (read-only access)"?

Thanks
Your host institution should have this information. Ask your supervisor.

Hello guys,

First time posting here, but following such discussions for the past 2 years. I had a doubt with regards to the 'Implementation' section. It was mentioned in my ESR last year that 'there are no clear means of verification specified for the milestones and deliverables mentioned in the Grantt chart'. I am just having a mental block here with regards to this thing. I had mentioned about regular communication with the PI and submission of regular progress reports to the PI as part of the verification of means and deliverables. Is that not enough? What else more could one right on this topic? Could anyone share some light?

Hi. I had included some "checkpoints" where the progress of the project will be evaluated and I didn't receive any complaint. I guess simply including progress reports may not satisfy some referees as you don't say what to do depending on the outcome of the progress report. However when you say "checkpoints" it implies some quality check will be done before proceeding any further and/or further progress in the project depends on the evaluation at that specific checkpoint.

I have included means verification for milestone in my proposal last time. Here is an example for you that might help.
For example here is your milestone : Mathematical Model verification completed. Deliverable: A patent in the form of opensource code with help of "TESLA company". Mean of verification: Agreement signed with "TESLA company".
Similarly, Milestone : experimental set up completed. Verification : verified by check list duly signed by supervisor or industrial collaborator.
I hope this will help :)

Hi everyone... I am submitting again the proposal with some changes. The format of documents (part B, B2) are always the same or we have to change something if compared with 2019?
Thanks

The number of applications seem to go up every year. Who knows how the pandemic has disrupted people's plans, but I would expect that in periods of instability or uncertainty applications would increase. The bright side is that there is rumored to be more funding available this year as it's the end of the Horizon 2020 budget cycle.

Any idea what's next after Horizon 2020? Are there any plans to continue this funding scheme or is anything else lined up after this?

Hi everyone... I have a last minute very silly question, but being on a Sunday I will throw it in here. When the beneficiary organisation is a Museum Foundation does it count as an academic organisation or not?
Thanks everyone!
