Just to clarify on the ethics question; the EC is clear that the ethics evaluation is a separate phase unless the reviewers see something that they think would be a problem for the research. This final additional ethics phase is almost certainly only for those who have the grant (or maybe on the reserve list) where there are ethical issues that they may have to fulfill as part of their grant preparation. But, if anything, it shows that the evaluations are done and ready to go.

With so many evaluations to send out and so many applicants, I would guess that there is some serious administrative work to do in order to prepare to send the grant evaluations out and make sure all the results are communicated appropriately. I still think that we will be a week ahead of the deadline. Maybe Feb 2 or 3. This is PURE SPECULATION. But I'm sure we have another week to wait.

I think any contact from the EC is a good sign LIF20!

Getting inquiries about the ethical issues is a good sign but not 100% grantee to get the fellowship. Most of the candidates around 90 or above got that but the cut off was not made at the time they sent the queries.

Hi all,

I am new here and although I did not want to go into results speculations, it seems quite tempting
My status after following the 'magic link' is still SUBMISSION. Does it mean that I did not continue to the ranking phase (apparently, I must have gone through the EVALUATION phase )? This is a question especially for those who already went through that last year and might have some observations. Anyone still with a SUBMISSION status? And a second question, if one gets in touch with a NCP in advance of the results deadline, are they likely to reveal your score (of course, if they have it in advance)?

As far as I know there was just one person in evaluation am I right?? I am still in submission and it seems to me I'll be in this phase till summer this is so slow!!!
