I could not follow all the craziness yesterday. It's just too much for me. But I must step in now and hug you back, lifmc2020. You're definitely one of my favorite people here. ;)

hi guys

Does anyone know about someone whit Evaluation who got the fellowship finally last year?
Yes, alexinem.
There were a few people that went to "Ranking" very close (1,2 days) to the publication of the results.
And they got it.
Fingers crossed for all of us.

The year before I think there was someone, but these are the things who always happen to other people! :DDD
It was two years ago
Yes, the year before last year I meant, sorry... last year the whole process seems to have been very consistent.

I read the statistics about how many people applied this year...Is there any number how many people actually get it?

Hi everyone,

From my experience of the past years: ranking means you got above 70, evaluation you got less. Normally, they should fund all the projects above 70, that's why they do a ranking list. The evaluation process finished indeed around December, in January they made the list (main list, reserve list, etc). On February 4th the results were out, last year.

All results are sent in the same day, no matter the list, in the order of the application number. I don't know the numbers this year, I didn't apply, but the one with application number 1 will receive the results before the one with the application number 2. It takes many hours to sent out the results, there are thousands of applications every year.

Please check your page on the funding & tender portal, all the documents are there (project proposal, IERs, Ethics, etc). Last year the documents were posted before the official notification came out. I remember I knew I got the fellowship many hours before I got the official results.

Those who have been contacted before for their Ethics it means the EC is interested in their proposal and it gives them a chance to improve their Ethics. They might be at least on the reserve list.

Best of luck everyone!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to post some detailed information here even if you didn't apply this year. :)
