I did not explain properly. I referred to the forum of 2018 MSCA. As far I remember people from last year started to receive the emails anytime after midnight. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Nothing happens. So...
They start at midnight. Here someone said he/she received the email late in the night, at around 3 am? and then there is "someone" who said the results will be released at the end of the week. I am exhausted!
No one in the forum said he/she received official thing ultill now. Based on my last two year's experience, the email starts in the midnight in order according to ID numbers. If no one comes out to give an update, we probably can go to sleep in peace today :D

I think you are right. I have also 10 years of postdoc experience with tens of papers and wrote a strong proposal, the best I have ever written. I have gotten excellent fellowships with less solid proposal but now it seems that I am too aged for the reviewers. It is shit to work in science. I see some people get an assistant professor position in top universities even without any postdoc experience and even without one paper published (until now) from their PhD. You may not believe me but this is true. It is shit
MSCA-IF is designed for erc's as a training program. It is not your usual postdoc where you would basically develop your own research without supervision. I think you should see MSCA-IF rather as a kind of PhD+, it will prepare you for other postdocs after the MSCA. They want people with not that much experience hence people with few publications can get the grant.

Logged into proposal management - it still says that the participant will be informed on the 11th

There were some stats in one of the PowerPoints circulating from one of the NCPs that showed that people with between 4-9 years postdoc experience actually had the highest success rate. There needs to be a two way transfer of knowledge so you have to have something valuable to bring to the table too.

True that. I wanted to apply for an AHRC erc grant in the UK and they told me to wait until the last possible year /7 years after finishing PhD) to have as much experience as possible. But the MSCA is designed to allow people with less experience to get a postdoc so if people with 7-8 years experience post-phd are getting the grant, the system will need an overhaul.

I called the NCP this morning and they told me that the results will be sent soon. The told that they were hoping that the results will be sent or late Monday or Tuesday, but they didn't know exactly when. They were aware of the leak in "some websites" and they know that we are freaking out.

I guess so. I'm in that 7 year bracket now though so I'll take the benefit! Plus, I'm sure your in the same boat, but I know I'm a far more competent scientist now than I was fresh out of my PhD. It's such prestigious grant that people will go after it with everything they have. If my experience is a major selling point, I'm going to highlight that as hard as I can. As we're all aware though, this thing is a bit of a lottery!
