yes, what I can observe from the report is they keep saying blablabla is not sufficient enough.
I guess this means they didn't like the project. Totally subjective... which shouldn't be. Do they give examples of why blah blah is not sufficient?
examples

state of the art is not sufficiently detailed, and relevant aspects connected to the project have been insufficiently outlined.
two insufficient in one sentence.

planned public engagements /outreach activities of the researcher are not sufficiently detailed.
What I can expect from this?

Can I apply for re-evaluation? At least not with such a low score.
This is not helpful at all esp the first one. The second you could work on it next year i think but the first comment doesn't help you to address these weaknesses next year...

832xxx. 86, rejected. Soc if st. Was in ranking.
Sorry about that
Thanks. My first attempt. At least I see I did good, which gives me hope for the other scholarships I am also applying.

The comments were a bit past the target, focusing largely on two hot topics I mentioned in passing and which were clearly not the essence of the project. But I guess it’s a learning curve and I may resubmit next year because 86 is pretty good for the first try and being fresh out of my phd. I just hope I won’t be unemployed in the meanwhile...
Do not give up yet. your score is pretty good for the first attempt of a recently graduated PhD. I have tried several times and I can tell you that just after my PhD I was incapable of writing a grant.

ID 838XXX

LIF, reserve list
score 91.8

Does it even make any sense to hope if you are in reserve list? The score is quite high but I have heard that it does not usually wotk out when you are in reserve list...
It depends on your order in the reserve list. Order of 1st-3rd will have high chance. But it also depends on the panel.
How do I know the order of the list ?
