We are getting too technical...

I included tables because the NCP also recommended in a file the sent me. Before that I never thought of making tables, tbh. I included 3 tables and a figure, and I think they are very effective. Will see.

I have submitted the project to a couple of other places, so if I do not get the MC hopefully (!) will get the idea funded somewhere else or I will leave academia. To do what? Don't know. I will find my way...

I would not think so much about these things. As long as you were within the guidelines it should be fine. Imagine that you were evaluating. Would you care so much about it?? If you were putting everything in tables just to make it extreme long than yes I would maybe take some points away from you. But i would never not give good chances to a good project because of a table or a font....I am sure the evaluators are people like us. And if they do reject applications because of these things than in my eyes they are not scientists...I am sure they see some applications that deserve in their eyes to be funded and they give them high scores and for the ones that they think hmm maybe not they give less. But I bet this is for an overall impression and not for ....Last year I applied and I got 91.2 and I had not idea how to write the application. I did not even mention the words milestone or deliverable :)))) On the other hand if id did write them who knows :))))

The EU research office of my host reviewed my application and said that I should feel free to include all work packages and descriptions of WP in tables and in font size 9 (or was it 8 that was the minimum for tables, can't recall) because previously successful applications did just that to save space. I followed my gut (and the applicant guide) and used normal 11pt font and rather reworded/shortened less essential text in other sections to fit it in. Anyway, I believe we shall know what happened in the evaluation in the next 6-29 hours.

I put in 2 tables and now I realized I used font 8 inside. Which is the minimal allowed. I wish I used 9 now. This would have been better :))

regarding tables: I think if the evaluators thought we were trying to save space by putting core text within tables, they would send the proposal back to us to amend and then they would only evaluate the 10 pages.
