Not to mention that the UK Research Office gets it's information from replies sent by the MSCA social media team on Twitter... and that none of the NCP have any news either.kassiek wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:34 pmThose tweets remind me of how easy it is for misinformation to spread. People start using secondary sources.xman25 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:31 pmhttps://twitter.com/_UKRO_/status/1090995858299072513

Hopefully, but as the NCP reply to the folks in the forum, it is not likely this week or even next Tuesday.expert_pastMC wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:40 pmI always thought that the 7th was a bit risky (especially before the submission deadline of the CoG). I doubt Brexit plays any role in this delay, it could well be the widening fellowships scheme. I also think either today after 5 or midnight would be when they would release the results.

It would be very nice to know the reason of the delay. Maybe they had an issue, maybe it's brexit... Knowing *why* would help a lot!
Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)
Now, I hope the NCPs know nothing. The previous posts saying this week even the following week is not possible to see any news. This is really frustratingxman25 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:42 pmHopefully, but as the NCP reply to the folks in the forum, it is not likely this week or even next Tuesday.expert_pastMC wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 3:40 pmI always thought that the 7th was a bit risky (especially before the submission deadline of the CoG). I can not image the scenarios that many of us get the rejection letter after weeks of sleepless torture. Holy shit!

My University told me the EC must communicate the results on 12 February at the latest, and they don't know the exact date.

Seemingly right now nobody knows anything about the IF-2018 call, including all; NCP, host institutions, and EU

Concerning Brexit and the delay, I am just guessing, but maybe they are related. Below is a part of the FFG's analysis. My worry is maybe the EC is reluctant to finance MSCA fellows (with UK hosts), seeing that they have to decide in a month (30th of March) on how to deal, case by case, with changing their host organisation from UK to another country ! full analysis here: https://www.ffg.at/en/europe/brexit/msca
"Ongoing projects: The Fellow would have to find a new host organisation in an EU Member State/Associated Country (with the consent of the EC, a decision will be made on a case-by-case basis). Alternatively, the UK host organisation may continue to finance the project from national funds (see “underwrite guarantee“).[/b]
Future projects: New applications with host organisations located in the UK would no longer be possible as from 30 March 2019."

It is miserable, really. If we do not get any official notification from the EU about this delay, the results should be communcated by Feb 12.
Beacuse when I did submit my proposal, I submited to the EU portal, not to the NCP.

Uncertainty is prevailing and neither NPCs or MSCA social media team are able to give an answer and I guess it will go beyond 12th February. They could have given a precise date but instead commented its due on the coming days. nobody knows nothing
