Rejected here. I resubmitted an improved application, I was on the reserve list with 92.6%. My score this year is 77%, I don’t understand a shit. Total lottery.

Rejected with 89.20%, SOC. Same as last year even though significantly revised and improved the application based on last year's reviews. Reviewer comments are random, like I clearly stated that I fluently speak the languages of my case countries, which was highlighted as a strength before and this time it is listed as a weakness that I don't go into details about my language competencies in the 10-page proposal. The gender came back at me yet again. Did not have any gender aspects originally, forced them into the project and ended up "not discussing them sufficiently". None of the 8 or so weaknesses identified make any sense to me.

Rejected, three attempts (with different projects) and this year I got the worst score (84,4). The worst criticism, that really fucked me up and lowed down a lot the excellence part, is ridiculous: tamoxifen treatment (in a cre inducible model) is toxic and there is no way to distinguish that from the effect of the knockout. Obviously I specify controls will be injected with tamoxifen too... Is really frustrating when you see they choose people with no fucking idea on using mice as experimental models...
