Judgement Day will come on midnight?
Re: 2018 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2018)
Any news about their system getting back to work? The system cannot just get back running by itself and they promised results will be out by the 12th (midnight). They might have already fixed over the weekend? it would not be possible otherwise to send emails tomorrow morning...

...and by the way, I deleted the gender section at the last moment because of the 10th pages limit and because it was not relevant at all ....Neuroscience ...

The idea is not bad. But, you are not taking into account that might be very strong proposals below 70.
The lottery is not about getting a 90 or 95, the lottery implies the whole spectrum...from 0 to 100

Given that getting funded is a lottery anyway, masked as a fair process because of the involvement of reviewers, my suggestion is
get the reviewers involved in weeding out the "very bad" applications, say those <75 or 80. Then really make a lottery drawing among the others, which are clearly all deserving of funding.
Before anyone cries of madness (or plagiarism) I need to disclose that this is what a group of scientist are proposing to do with the NIH grant funding in the US in order to reduce the burden of grant writing (time diverted fro doing science)

Normally in big cases like this (I’ve written these types of tender documents), in the contract for whoever built the new portal, they would require weekend emergency IT support. They should have been working on it all weekend. So the fact that we haven’t gotten anything makes me wonder if they still haven’t fixed the problem. From my understanding, they would have started sending right away as soon as it was working.MC_F wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 1:03 pmAny news about their system getting back to work?
