What will be the order? Based on the project ID or accepted/rejected status?

Any idea whether the decision is first communicated via email or on the portal?

Email. And you'll know right away through the subject line. The big question is what time you'll get it since they'll do around 500 per hour. We believe it will be in ID order.

Last year was according the ID number regardless whether one got it or not. My guess is that it will be the same this year. But who knows how it will be. I hope they will manage to send more emails per hour as they have this nice new system . Otherwise it could be a long waiting....

500 mails per hour for 10k applications means 20 hours of torture for the last group... If they deliver all simultaneously, system will fail.
If i remember well, they started from higher IDs when they put us in SUBMISSION phase. For RANKING it was in opposite direction.

But I must admit, I didn't think about the results as much as I did after following this portal. So much anticipation and emotions flowing in here.

Well the first time around I didnt know the results would be out earlier than the date mentioned so I was caught off guard. This year knowing it is usually earlier makes every extra day a nightmare

I looked at when the dates were last year for the results, so when it got late was when I found this forum. It has actually been a comfort to know that I'm not the only one waiting and waiting. Like many people, there are some big life decisions that relate to the outcome!
