Look what I found:

this means that they are dealing with too many calls/results etc and they are just super busy.
of course this is just a few hundreds of applications.... :?
At least, they are still working...

If MSCA 2018 call is 'really' related to the Brexit, then the COFUND could not be released so smooth?

The application deadline of co-fund program was even later than MSCA-IF........

Answer from my Host Institution (UK) :

No worries, it’s the big question mark these days. We’ve been expecting results since the end of January, then found out they were due this week, now my colleague just told me they’re being delayed but there isn’t an updated timescale yet... so unfortunately other than this I can’t be of much help...
If we get some official news I’ll let you know!

yes but they had what 140 applications? I just put it here to show that they are still busy working  and to explain the shut-down of the grant portal for 15 mins today.

This is also what we can find out from twitter.
Those tweets remind me of how easy it is for misinformation to spread. People start using secondary sources.

Is this because one random Twitter user said it might be related to Brexit in an already deleted reply, or is there some other evidence of Brexit having a role in here?

I always thought that the 7th was a bit risky (especially before the submission deadline of the CoG). I doubt Brexit plays any role in this delay, it could well be the widening fellowships scheme. I also think either today after 5 or midnight would be when they would release the results.
