Why they are assumed to start sending out the results at midnight and not e.g. at 8 am?

I think this forum makes this process far more painful than it has to be. Most of us would just be getting on with life, feeling a bit apprehensive while waiting for an email. This forum creates a form of mob madness, polite middle class mob madness with kittens and such shit, but madness nonetheless.

Many applicants received emails last year in a weird time after midnight.
