Hi I was reading your posts and I was on my way to bed. I don't think anything is coming tonight. I was also looking into brexit and what will happen. The horizon 2020 states clearly that the host institution must be an EU or associated country. So in the case of a no deal brexit if the uk does not associate quickly to the program, at least in theory, the investigators can be asked to change the host university. I know what you are thinking, the money for the current msca were budgeted a while ago. But this does not mean anything. Eu is not leagaly bound by that. However it is leagaly bound by the rules regard g the host institution. This is at least what I got.... This is why the uk government said they will take the bill and pay the rest...
This was exactly my understanding. There are safeguards in place in the deal, but the deal is nowhere near being agreed. In the case of a no deal, there are no guarantees sadly.

Just poking my head up to say that for people who applied for MSCA funding in this round, successful applicants to the UK are guaranteed their funding: https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... it-deal--2

It is more complicated for other parts of H2020 funding though!

I am already awake, nothing new in my Participants portal.
But I see it was intense here :) :)

While we are waiting, does anyone have information on the number of EF applicants per panel? :geek:

This information comes out after the results. You can check it under “Topics and conditions” in the participant portal.

Thanks! Just curious about how depressed / happy should I be after the results, relative to the total number of applicants in my category. :D
