Hi I was reading your posts and I was on my way to bed. I don't think anything is coming tonight. I was also looking into brexit and what will happen. The horizon 2020 states clearly that the host institution must be an EU or associated country. So in the case of a no deal brexit if the uk does not associate quickly to the program, at least in theory, the investigators can be asked to change the host university. I know what you are thinking, the money for the current msca were budgeted a while ago. But this does not mean anything. Eu is not leagaly bound by that. However it is leagaly bound by the rules regard g the host institution. This is at least what I got.... This is why the uk government said they will take the bill and pay the rest...

This was exactly my understanding. There are safeguards in place in the deal, but the deal is nowhere near being agreed. In the case of a no deal, there are no guarantees sadly.

It is more complicated for other parts of H2020 funding though!
