Hey Guys. I have been lurking long time this post. And I have signed up to share one information with you. I've just got an e-mail from my NCP and the results will be announced on 7th February morning. Good luck everyone.

No one knows, it might not even mean anything at all. Two popular speculations are that 1.) these proposals are below the 70% threshold OR that 2.) they are EITHER below the 70% threshold OR successful. My guess is that it doesn't mean anything, it's just that some proposals haven't been updated yet for whatever reason.

But frankly, we just need to wait this one out. My status is "ranking", but I only found the forum today, so I don't know when it changed.

10,000 applicants + 10,000 representative of the host institute.
If 7th is true, I would say that none of us would be able to access the evaluation reports the same day.

7th of February is the deadline for the submission of applications for CoG. last year they received 2389 applications. I would think that this would put a stress on the system, to have 10,000 people accessing the portal to see their results + 2400 more uploading their final applications.

everything is done on the same portal (I think!).

guys, how will they manage the workload and the system's load on the 7th of February? this is the deadline for the ERC consolidator grants. I am a bit wary.

CoG is a two steps selection procedure. Most of the applications do not pass pre-selection. Now they will send notifications to just few hundred, which entered the selection phase. I don't think this is smth heavy, compared to some thousand MSCA notifications.

It probably means that your proposal has not reached the threshold of 70/100! but don't worry! this is just speculation!

Yes, you are right, now it is the submission for CoG, not the notification.

So either they don't know or don't want to tell us.
