It does tell something about how crazy the academic funding system is that first we all spent days or weeks polishing our proposals (including the time spent by grant advisors and supervisors) and now it's difficult to get any work done while anticipating the results... All of this time would have counted for quite many MC projects if used for research. But still, best of luck everyone in this lottery!

At this point I hope that everyone can agree that the overwhelming evidence is that people that went to RANKING early could either be rejected AND accepted.

Last year ~50% of people posting here got the grant. So I will be extremely surprised if all people in RANKING fail. This would mean that less than 15% of people posting here will get it which is very unlikely.
