Hello all
Thank you all for the information.
May I ask how confident you are and what your phase is at the moment?
I am RANKING now (no idea when) and I think I will get something in the 88-93 band (hoping to get through the Widening fellowship).
Thanks again and good luck all.

I am also ranking.
This is my first trial.
I expect 80-90 from this proposal at the best.
Good luck all.

Yes, I think emails are sent according to your position in the ranking. Last year, those who had a high score (>85) got it during the night/early in the morning. I got mine at 6 a.m. (I was 58th-60th in my panel). But maybe the reason is also that they have to send two different types of email: funded and rejected. So they launch the funded emails first and then the rejected ones. Well, I guess...

I got 91 last year in chem panel. I got an email at 2:30 pm afternoon.
I also know some people who got night/early morning were rejected.

my feeling that they ranked first no funded projects and will send first e-mails to. who are in evaluation will be ranked with funded prop or will go to the below treshold. based on our low statistic, most projects are ranked, but few not. in any case, few will win or goes under 70.
just guessing.
just guessing.

Last year I got less than 80 due to low score in a section as a blank page was inserted during pdf conversion which i didnt notice and the last page wasnt evaluated. but I got the email at 3am for a rejection. So i dont think the early morning night emails hold.

1. I think people who were ranked quickly could be both rejected and accepted.keep_chr wrote: ↑Wed Jan 30, 2019 10:20 ammy feeling that they ranked first no funded projects and will send first e-mails to. who are in evaluation will be ranked with funded prop or will go to the below treshold. based on our low statistic, most projects are ranked, but few not. in any case, few will win or goes under 70.

2. People in evaluation could be the one who is on the border of the threshold of funding like the proposals with the same score, so they need to discuss and evaluate which is gonna go through.
3. Proposals in evaluation also could mean they did not cross a threshold. But you have to write a very bad proposal to not to cross a threshold of 70.
4. On the forum, we are 40-50 people so statistics is rather poor to deduce any conclusion.
I mean there are so many possibilities here..........
