Another question (just to chat a bit ):
Did you received any "professional" help from your host institution during the proposal writing?
I mean, there are those proofreading services that each university (or most of them) has...They go through your proposal and check the strong and weak points...how was your experience about it?

In my case, my future Professor checked the application couple of times, after I prepared it all on my own using previous successful applications. She has gotten many MSCA in the past, but she also mentioned that this is a lottery .Diatosystem wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:40 pmAnother question (just to chat a bit ):

I didn't receive any "professional help" in my application My host read it once, hours before submitting (I mean, I want to believe that) and he told me that "it looks as a strong application"
Sometimes I read my application and I feel confident and optimistic, but sometimes I feel quite the opposite...
I am in the CAR panel (phase:submission) so, not used to identify weak points in these applications... some one (the referees) will do it

my future PI has done it too, but I also got the help from this "Grant" office, who gave me some general advises about writing and layout...It was really helpful indeedChemista wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:46 pmIn my case, my future Professor checked the application couple of times, after I prepared it all on my own using previous successful applications. I hope so ...otherwise you can delete the styles of the browser once you are in the portal and see at which status your proposal is...

I think all of us have the same feeling about our proposal...Indeed, I didn't dare to open my proposal since weeks after the submission ahahahnino wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 6:56 pmI didn't receive any "professional help" in my application My host read it once, hours before submitting (I mean, I want to believe that) and he told me that "it looks as a strong application"

I checked with disabeling style view! Current Phase: Submission I saw this. As I understood from the previous posts It is a negative sign!!!Diatosystem wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 7:03 pmI hope so ...otherwise you can delete the styles of the browser once you are in the portal and see at which status your proposal is...

We do not know. Several years ago, the people who went to evaluation during the first weeks of january...did not get the fellowship because they got less than 70%. People that reached the 70% went to evaluation later...Could someone else corroborrate this?alexinem wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 7:27 pmI checked with disabeling style view!
