I gathered all the announcement dates in the past six years

In my experience (2018, 2019, 2021), the announcements started on Monday 00:00 and continue through out the day. Last year it started on March 21 at 00:00, they informed the people who got a middle range grade first; the people who were awarded and who got low marks were informed last, around 9am.

The results will probably be out this coming Monday.

When the result of the ERC consolidator grants was announced a week ago, a professor from cambridge posted on twitter his concern about the significantly reduced number of UK-based researchers (life sciences) who won the grant compared to previous years.

I think it is not true, in 2022, 31 researchers out of 313 people were granted from the UK and in 2021 there were 41 out of 350 I think. It has not been a huge decrease.

I hope not, and I don't think it is likely, given the fact that what is assessed and ranked, by peers, is our submitted project and other files. (at least this is what we are told) It would otherwise bring in serious suspicion in relation to the whole evaluation process, no?
