Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
Now that the UK has left the European Union, will that affect the distribution of funds? Will EU researchers have better chances of winning a grant? My understanding is that nothing will change until the end of the transition period in 2021. It could even be longer if there is a bilateral accepted ...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
Good point Shapovalov. I guess if you wanted to be quantitative about it, you would have to estimate the proportion of points afforded to the quality of the host institution and supervisor (which is distinguishable from you integration within it), and compare that to the increased liklehood of WF fu...

Re: Evaluation
Second question, an evaluator from my institute told me that all applications have been evaluated and that the consensus phase is over. So now it mainly depends on officers in Brussels. That's great! So they are on schedule - perhaps even a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. After the consensus pha...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
Interesting - thanks for the link. But remember that a direct percentage comparison hides that each fellowship has a different dynamic. WF that don't get onto the main list get a second go - and at that point only compete among their own WF group. Due to this, they are likely to skip above other IFs...

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
The Commission lists the stats at the end of each call on the call website. If you go to the Funding and Tenders Portal, to the MSCA-IF2019 call, and expand all the text, you should see it posted there. There isn't anything extra there though, but that's the source.

Re: 2019 Marie Curie Individual Fellowship (H2020-MSCA-IF-2019)
Thanks msca2018, really interesting document. The Spanish NCP did a good job with that one. Anyway, it gives the following budget allocation: •EF(ST/CAR/RI): 236,5 M€ •EF(SE): 8 M€ •GF: 50 M€ EUR Am I the only one to whom it is not clear if the headers and footers may be with the 15mm margin (if I u...
